Ecojot Giveaway

Contest.

Get excited, folks. We have a wonderful giveaway starting today and five lucky readers are going to win a wonderful product!

Ecojot is a Canadian based company that creates 100% post-consumer recycled products. As someone who loves a stylish product that is also earth-friendly, here are some other great stats about Ecojot:

* Acid-free, processed chlorine free paper & board is used.
* All inks & glues are vegetable based, therefore bio-degradable.
* No new trees are used to make the paper & the paper mill is powered by biogas harnessed from a nearby landfill.
* All of the protective packaging is corn-based.
* Their "Buy One Give One campaign" donates a school notebook to young students around the world for every jounal, jumbo journal, or sketchbook purchased.

And of course...their graphic prints are bright, cheery and fun.

So here's the contest skinny. Five randomly chosen readers will win (2) 5x7 journals. All you have to do is leave a comment telling us what you use your journals for...shopping lists, random thoughts, whatever. You have until August 9th to enter.

As for me, I keep a journal with me always to jot down (1)blog ideas, (2)note cocktails and wine that I enjoy at restaurants, and since I'm trying to furnish our new apartment (3) furniture and room dimensions.

Good luck, all!

Ooooo I love these! I would use the journal to jot down my to-do list each day. It sure beats having a billion sticky notes lying around!

Oh these are fabulous!!! I love using journals to jot down MANY things. The usual to-do lists, or daily activities/thoughts. As for these, my blog has recently become a priority in my day to keep up with! I'd love to have these journals when I am not near my computer to scribble down my blossoming ideas for a post, or when I'm told of a good website to look into. Also, when I'm browsing the web, I always write down websites or fashion/decor ideas that I see on scrap papers, but of course those always seem to get lost!

Wonderful Giveaway Hip Hostess!!
XXXO.

I'd use one of these gorgeous journals to keep my shopping lists. It would be much prettier than the reverse sides of envelopes I use now!

Love these! I would also use mine for shopping lists, to-do lists, random notes, and I'm sure a toddler doodle or two. :)

I LOVE these! I use journals for everything. They are much more fun than the regular notebook and they are prettier on the shelf! I had one for wedding planning, one for planning our baby expenses...I even had one when we were going through the car-buying process. And of course there is one for my favorite quotes and snippets I find along the way. Thanks for this giveaway!

These are super cute! I use journals like this for random thoughts/drawings. This will be my first year as a teacher, and I would use at least of these to jot down notes and to-do lists...which I'll have MANY as a grad student AND a teacher!

I use my ecojot notebook for all things travel related; whether it's stumbling across a unique place I wish to go, or writing about the fantastic places I've already been, I use it for everything!

I use two of the ecojot journals everyday and love, love, love them. One is used at work on my desk to keep my daily to do list and the other is in my purse to keep my personal to do (and honey-do list!!!). Can't get enough of these and everywhere I go people wanna know where I got them. (I'm a walking advertisement too!!)

cute! I usually journal about fun and crazy experiences living on Guam, travel, and writing short stories. It's a relaxing thing to do at the beach or even the little cafes they have along the beaches.

I love this brand, they make such wonderful things! I use my journals for almost everything. My to-do-list, names of songs & movies, things I still need to buy (or want to have!), to write down ideas for my website etc etc. Great give-away!

I am a list fanatic. I am always writing in a notebook, lists, lists, lists. Thoughts, ideas, etc. From menu planning for dinner parties, to shopping lists, to things I have to do around the house. These would definitely help me feel less guilty for the paper I waste!

I totes love using journals for recording to-do lists, wish lists, every list really, ideas for projects I see online, or in magazines or on tv!! And especially when I need to remember to do something, I can write it down super quick...sticky notes get lost in my bottomless pit of a purse.

Love the last one with the birds and the trees!

I would use it for daily thoughts, or maybe book notes (why a certain book was enjoyable). I have an old journal that's getting rather beat-up that I've been jotting down in, and would love something new!

These journals are so neat! I would use my journals for lesson plan ideas. I am a high school Government teacher and when ideas for fun activities, movies, or a new way to explain a concept pops into my head I have to write it down!

These are absolutely gorgeous!!! I love carrying a journal with me to jot down recipes I come across and places I want to travel to. My current one has a map of Italy on it....my next dream destination!

I have always loved journaling and have little books strewn about our apt and my purse. I use them for jotting notes, blog ideas, lists, reminders, and transcribing my favorites text messages or conversations.

I would probably use it to jot down the new eco-friendly stores I come across on the internet. I usually bookmark these on my browser but I know that I forget about my bookmarks easily. When I write things down, I have a visual reminder before me at all times. I'd also use it for my random thoughts that I like to expatiate at a later time.

These are adorable!

I use my journal for work purposes (not super fun, I know). I keep it in my bag so it's with me for meetings, in case a client calls me while I'm on my way home, etc.

I really like the look of these journals. I would use them to compose songs in---one for all my "I Love You" songs and the other for the "You are a weenie" type songs.

Ecojot journals are the greatest! There is a size and shape perfect for all things - I find mine especially useful for capturing creative thoughts and planning for design projects. As well, I am currently using a jumbo journal to keep track of ideas and plans for my wedding!

I love using journals! I give them to my staff members...sure beats all the sticky notes. I use them to jot down phone messages; use them for ideas I want to bring to a meeting or to the attention of one of my staff members; jot down things I must attend to in near future...like today!
