Holiday Giveaway

Do you have trouble getting in gear for the holidays.  Sometimes around this time of year it seems like we just put away the skeletons and then out comes the gravy boat.  Then of course all of the decor that goes with holiday cheer and yuletide.

I have an idea.  I was given a couple of Christmas reads by McMeel Publishing.  One of the titles is A Shtinky Little Christmas and the other celebrating Christmas share, remember, cherish.  They are both small books that won't take any longer than 5 minutes to read but will give you the Christmas warm and fuzzy's.  Sometimes that's all the inspiration you need to start pulling out the candy canes.

My husband, children, and I are so excited this year to have my parents visiting for Christmas! Both my family and my husband's family are on opposite ends of the country (Maine and Louisiana), and we usually aren't able to spend Christmas with them. This year will be different and wonderful! My younger sister is getting married in April of next year, and she is currently living with her fiance in Oklahoma away from family as well. This will be the first year she and her fiance will be putting up a tree in their home, and they would love having a beautiful start to their decorating (as I would send this giveaway as an early Christmas present). Thanks for the opportunity!!
