Screwdriver Coat Rack
What is that you ask? Well, it's a totally cool shelf made by homemade-modern with repurposed screwdrivers. I love this idea for a little boy's room or my husband feels his ties are art worthy, so this would give him a very manly way to display them. This summer I have really gotten into flea markets and I love finding these cool projects and then searching for the tools (pun intended) to make it happen. You can buy screw drivers at the flea market for $1 all day long. Cool project and a search mission for the market.

Chocolate Ravioli
These little beauties are chocolate ravioli filled with sweet marscapone cheese. What a decadent ending to any meal and talk about a wow factor. Not only are they cute as a button but then you get to pick whatever sauce your heart desires. What'll it be...more chocolate, caramel, raspberry or maybe vanilla?

DIY at its finest!
How many times have you set the table before guests arrived only to wish you would have picked up something with a pop of color that would really bring everything together. Well how about buying a few items up front and always having that option in 15 minutes? I think this idea is fun, quick and ideal for outdoor dining. Design Improvised deserves a gold star for this adorable 15 minute runner.

Honey Baked Nectarines
Stone fruit starts gettin good in June and lasts all summer long. I love this idea of halving the nectarines and then baking them in a hot oven for a short time. Then the best part they get topped with a little honey, praline crumbs and vanilla creme fraiche. I usually try to avoid the oven in the summer but I'm thinking that a hot grill would also do the trick. Only one way to find out!

Fridge Liners
Do you always pull out your crisper drawer and wonder what exactly happened in there. For god's sake man...I just store my tomatoes, onions and greens in there. I've started to do the blind reach, I just open look through one eye and then grab and shut. That way I won't feel the need to pull out the whole drawer and wash it down. Well fridge liners is saying that they have a product that will stop all this because the paper is absorbent? I'm not completely convinced that it will help but I'm willing to give it a go. Anything has to be better than what's going on now. Anyone have these?

Appetizers: Zucchini Bites
I love having a little something for guests to nibble on while waiting for their grilled deliciousness to come off the barbie. I think Blogging Over Thyme came up with the perfect solution. It is great that you can prepare ahead of time and just pop them on the grill for a few seconds to make the goat cheese gooey. The guests will not only be excited to see what's inside the chic little package but imagine their delight as they get a bite of the spicy goat cheese. Yum!

Otomi????
My husband and I eat dinner on the sofa in front of the tv almost every night. Even though we have a perfectly lovely dining table. I know it's not a great practice but there is something very relaxing after a long day to set in front of one of your favorite shows with a fantastic dinner. That being said, the not so fantastic part is that we usually balance the plates on our laps or on magazines or half on/half off the coffee table. It is anything but graceful.
The problem is chic t.v trays just do not exist. They are all ugly and wooden or look like something you would get from a hospital. Hence the balancing act continues.
When I saw the post over at Hi Sugarplum and saw the way she transformed an ordinary table with some fantastic Mexican art called Otomi the idea was born. Honestly, I've never heard of that term before but you better believe it will be coming out of my mouth alot after seeing this transformation. Now I just have to find some tv trays that are Otomi makeover friendly and it's on!

Seek a Treat Puzzle
We got a puppy in December and let me tell you she is adorable but also a handful. The energy levels are boundless. While we took a little getaway to Mexico we had a friend stay with the dogs and even though we repeatedly told him the puppy had a lot of energy...he wasn't prepared. When I saw this dog puzzle with a treat compartment I knew I was sold. I attended training courses and the instructor said it is just as important to exhaust mental energy as it is to get plenty of physical activity. This is a great gift for the dog lover in your life and it is only $11.24.
