Giveaway: Ornament Collection

Enter to Win.

When you get married, you register for pots and pans, flatware, china, and a lot of gadgets. But when the holidays roll around and you are celebrating your first Christmas as a couple, you soon realize that a coherent set of ornaments might be something you could use. And when you have a gift shopping list as long as the Mississippi, you probably don't want to spend a lot of money on trimming your tree.

Which is why I am SO excited for our giveaway form The Whitehurst Company, aka fabulous purveyor of ornaments. They have created a Newlywed Starter Kit of ornaments in monochromatic selections of either gold or silver that is just what a new couple needs to get started. And quite frankly, as a non-newleywed I could use this too!

So if you are a Newlywed, know a Newlywed, or just need some beautiful ornaments, enter to win this package (which retails at $75) from The Whitehurst Company. All you need to do leave us a comment telling us how plan to celebrate the holidays. Don't forget to leave your info so we can contact you if you win. We'll accept entries until December 2nd and announce a winner on December 5th.

Being a newlywed myself I can totally relate! I am afraid I'm going to have to get rid of my pink ornaments, I don't think my husband will like a pink tree! :)
This year will be challenging with trying to juggle working and spending time with both of our families, but of course we will do what we have to. I'm thankful both of our families live in the same town.

I'm not a newlywed, but a singleton! I'm entering this giveaway to try win this ornament for my little brother and his fiancé who will be married in June 2012! What a great wedding / Christmas gift it'll make, and hopefully get me on their good sides!

My holidays will be spent in the snowy English countryside in a tiny village with my family. We'll spend the day catching up on all that's gone on in the last year ( I'm living abroad) whilst playing board games, quaffing champagne!

Happy Holidays!

We are spending the holidays trying to split time between his family, in our town, and mine, 10 hours away. There will be a lot of driving in our future!

As a soon to-be newlywed, I will admit our ornament selection is well, zero. This year however we are celebrating our first Christmas at our place with each of our families coming to visit us! We are planning to get a tree and lights so these ornaments would be an awesome addition. Thanks for such a great give away!

I would love these ornaments for my daughter who is a grad student living in the north who will be spending her first Christmas away from family. I know she cannot afford luxuries like christmas ornaments so these would be such a treat for her.

My hubby and I plan on driving with our puppy up into the mountains where it's cold. (Living in San Diego is great but I definitely miss chilly noses and scarves to get into the holiday spirit!) Our pup has never been in snow so I'm hoping to introduce her to snowballs and romping through a big ole pile of the cold stuff.

my husband and i will celebrate our first anniversary on new year's eve..we've never really been the "christmas tree" type because i was in grad school for most of our dating life and just didn't have the time..we've recently purchased a new home and have a vaulted ceiling in our living room which according to my husband is the PERFECT spot for a very large christmas tree!! although he only wants to put lights on (no ornaments) i could definitely use some "trimmings"!! i can't wait to celebrate my anniversary as well as my 4 month old niece's first christmas under our tree!!

I just got married two weeks ago and never even thought about decorating our tree for the first time! We're planning on spending this holiday season figuring out which traditions we want to keep from each side of our families.... or doing something different and making up our own set of rules :)

The upcoming month will be spent graduating from law school, studying for the bar exam, and planning my upcoming wedding! My fiance and I will travel between both families and begin making our own Christmas traditions!

My husband, children, and I are so excited this year to have my parents visiting for Christmas! Both my family and my husband's family are on opposite ends of the country (Maine and Louisiana), and we usually aren't able to spend Christmas with them. This year will be different and wonderful! My younger sister is getting married in April of next year, and she is currently living with her fiance in Oklahoma away from family as well. This will be the first year she and her fiance will be putting up a tree in their home, and they would love having a beautiful start to their decorating (as I would send this giveaway as an early Christmas present). Thanks for the opportunity!!

Oh! I want these so bad. I'm a big girl, out on my own, decorating my very own tree for the first time! I'd love these. I'll be hosting a holiday housewarming and then go to my aunt's house for her annual Christmas Eve party, where we honor the Danish tradition of lighting ACTUAL CANDLES on the tree. Only once in 25 years has there been a fire.
