Holiday Card Recycling Program

If you are anything like me you go through the same holiday card ritual every year. I always read the cards one last time and then take them down and move them to a pile on the table. There they sit for another week until I move them to a second location. It always seems kind of wrong to throw them away. Then after I can’t stand it anymore they go into the trash bin.

Well this year I found a fabulous way to put those cards to good use. St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, a safe home that rescues abused, abandoned, and neglected children operates a recycling card program to benefit the children. The children participate in the program by turning the old cards into new ones for the next season which will be sold with the profits being used towards the program.

Cards may be donated by sending them to:

Recycling helps mother nature! Good thing you were able to come up with this project... It's also for a cause, that's why everything's really worth doing!
