I've never attempted a poached egg.  To be honest, it always seemed like to much trouble.  But thanks to this article over at YumSugar giving you tips for the perfect poached egg, I think I will give it a whirl-pun intended.

I've been noticing that magazines are making the month of March all about St. Patrick's Day.  Now I can get behind a drinking holiday in any month and leprechauns are pretty cute.  But decorating your home for St. Patrick's in the same fashion that you would for Christmas?  I won't lie...I gave it an eye roll.  But then I saw how stinkin' cute some of these ideas are and really it's just about adding pops of green.  No paper shamrocks or luck o' signs incorporated.  What do you think?

National Tortilla Chip Day

Yesterday in my household was a holy day of sorts...Oscar Day.  I can't help but feel bad that due to my worship, I missed National Tortilla Chip Day.  So, I'm going to celebrate it a day late with a nice dinner of Paula Deen's warm mexican crab dip.  It's true that it doesn't take much to convince me to have dip for dinner but this IS official.  Care to join me in a bowl.
